This day in the London law courts is an important part of your understanding of authentic legal English.
We travel to London by private bus, which departs from Cambridge at 8:15am. One of your teachers will be with you to answer your questions. There are several very interesting courts in central London that are open to visitors. We will visit one or more of the following courts:
- The Old Bailey (The Central London Criminal Court)
- The Supreme Court ( The Highest Court in the U.K.)
- The Royal Courts of Justice (The major court for appeal hearings in London)
If possible, the group also visit one of the very good legal bookshops which are located in central London. This is the best place to buy a good legal dictionary or a book on a particular legal subject. You will have some free time in the afternoon before our bus returns to Cambridge.
